Import an Excel schedule into a Gantt chart.

Spreadsheet schedules are common, but they become easier to review when task names, dates, durations, dependencies, and resources are mapped into a Gantt workspace.

Start with recognizable columns

The cleanest imports include task name, start date, finish date, duration, predecessors, resources, and milestone fields. Non-standard sheets should be previewed and mapped before import.

Validate before applying

Imported rows should be checked for missing task names, invalid dates, impossible durations, and predecessor references that cannot be matched.

Use the table and Gantt views together

The table view keeps imported data inspectable, while the Gantt view shows how the schedule behaves across time.

Common questions

Can any Excel layout be imported automatically?

No. The app can tolerate common header variations, but arbitrary spreadsheets still need preview and field mapping.

Can the Gantt chart be exported back to a table?

Yes. A table view makes the schedule inspectable and exportable for spreadsheet workflows.
