GanttPilot Privacy Policy

Overview

GanttPilot is a browser-based Gantt planning workspace for project schedules, AI-assisted schedule revisions, resource checks, Google Drive file workflows, and Project XML export. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We collect account information such as your name, email address, authentication provider, and subscription status. We also process project data that you create, import, edit, save, or export in the product, including task names, dates, durations, dependencies, resources, milestones, notes, and schedule scenarios.

Billing information is handled by Paddle or another payment processor. We receive subscription and payment status needed to provide the service, but we do not store full payment card details.

Google Drive data

If you choose to use Google Drive features, GanttPilot requests the Google Drive drive.file scope. This limited permission lets the app open files you explicitly select and create or update files that GanttPilot creates for you.

We use Google Drive data only to provide the file action you request: opening a selected plan file, importing its schedule data into your workspace, or saving a GanttPilot plan file back to your Drive. We do not use Google Drive data for advertising, and we do not sell Google user data.

GanttPilot does not request broad access to all files in your Google Drive. You can revoke the app's Google access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.

AI processing

When you ask GanttPilot to analyze or revise a schedule with AI, project content relevant to your request may be sent to AI service providers to generate the requested planning response, preview, or schedule change. We do not use your project data to sell advertising.

How we use information

We use information to operate the service, authenticate users, save and retrieve project plans, process subscriptions, provide support, improve reliability, protect against abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Sharing

We share information with service providers only as needed to run GanttPilot, such as authentication, hosting, database, AI processing, payment, analytics, customer support, and security providers. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or security of users and the service.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and project data for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You can request account or project deletion by contacting us.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect data. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to limit access and protect the systems that store and process user data.
